谁弱谁有理/宗教庇护 ◇ 这集从头到尾，从主角到客串角色，从主线到边角细节，都被安排得妥妥当当 — 质疑强势方和利益相关方，同情弱势方 (少数族裔/非法移民/低收入)。 ◇ 为教会终身服务换取最低刑法，辩方说 “What he did is horrible, but why put him in jail for 25 years? Waste a life? …a lost little boy… Change the plea: Not guilty by reason of mental defect. My expert witness will have the jury calling for extra crying towels.” 控方回应 “The society doesn’t let us choose our own punishment. This isn’t the 8th century where you can give yourself over to God… The Old Testament says, only the injured party can forgive. 血汗工厂/Slave Labor/非法劳工 ◇ 对应了八九十年代的服装业血汗工厂“盛况”和1990年在纽约的一系列执法行动。 ◇ Hot Goods Provisions – forbids the shipping across state lines of any product made in violation of federal labor laws. ◇ “In politics, two choices: do nothing, do something. Nothing has fewer risks.” ◇ 配偶保密特权 spousal privilege，保证配偶在婚姻期间的交流内容不被披露 (Communications privilege)，也不能被要求在配偶有关的诉讼中作证 (Testimonial privilege)。但这种特权条款有许多例外，比如本集里 1/ 只要配偶目击对方犯罪，便可自愿出庭作证，关键点在怎么发现的/发现了什么。2/ 配偶若目击了对方的犯罪计划或计划过程，也可作为证人。 ◇ 这集title “Wedded Bliss” 可以说贯穿始终了，从血汗工厂制造的婚纱到主谋夫妇的畸形关系，再到凶嫌夫妻。很精彩的一集，配角们的人物细节也满满。
