The greatest success in your life is to have somebody who go through life with you, and understands all your foibles, forgives you, tolerates all your silliness, and then takes incredible joy in your successes.
Life takes work, a shit loads amount of work:
I think people who do these (dangerous) things, like racing, must see life as very, very dangerous. It’s a dangerous thing to get up in the morning and live -- it’s very dangerous and you can’t do much about that, but you can get into a semi-dangerous situation that’ controllable.
Life is a minefield, you can be hurt very badly, you can be killed emotionally in a way, or I think that’s what people fear. I know I do. You cannot make life controlled. You cannot control it. You cannot master life. You can’t even mater the technique of life.
You see if I do the wrong thing here, I’m gonna crash. And if I learn how to do it right, we’re not gonna crash. Then it’s gonna be beautiful. We’re going to fly away.
